Squared cants are conveyed sideways under the scanner.
Their profile is analysed by optical sensors fixed under a gantry installed over (and possibly on another gantry fixed under).
Spacing of the sensors depends according to the accuracy of analyse necessary along the board.
The central unit treats all measurements to digitalized the board profile and to determine the areas of wane of the board.
The computer sends to the setting system the position of cut so as to eliminate the wane of the product.
