College Saint-FrançoisMUDATA is a microelectronics and micro-computing company, which applies to many areas and specializes in the manufacture of setting systems and automation for the wood industry.

History

Set up in 1979, MUDATA inaugurates the beginning of its existence with contracts of design and manufacture of innovating products involving a new technology, the microelectronics.
In 1981, MUDATA develops, in collaboration with the French Technical Centre of Wood and Furniture (CTBA), an optimizing system in real time for the sawing of logs on a carriage, called OPTIGRUM and setting systems specialized in the wood sawing which will allow the sawmills to upgrade their quality of sawing and significantly increase their yield. The same year, the Agency of Data processing awards the OSCAR of data processing applications to both above systems.
In 1989,
MUDATA receive the "Innovating to Export" award from the "Ile de France" province.
In 1990,
MUDATA creates a subsidiary in Spain, MUDATA SPAIN before its entrance in Europe.
In 1999,
MUDATA to extend its services to sawmills, MUDATA creates a subsidiary, in "Rhône-Alpes" region, MUDATA AUTOMATION , specialised in industrial automatisms..
In 2009
MUDATA foresee to create another subsidiary in North America.

Know-How

  • MUDATA has developed a bus calculator prototype for the CAMP
  • a speed controller prototype for SCANIA FRANCE,
  • a calculator-controller of stub axle boles for the REGIE RENAULT,
  • the SITU map system for the SEITU (RATP)
  • the LOTOMATIC (sporting lotto stakes taking and processing system) for the Republic of TOGO

MudataFor the wood industry, MUDATA has created a full range of equipment (please click on "products"), perfectly adapted to the woodworking, which has been developed year after year to bring more user-friendliness (touch screen), more productivity, a better protection in industrial environments (compliance with European and international standards) and updated technologies (16 bits micro-controller, fast networks, flash memory, CMS components, laser triangulation.).

In figures

Now, MUDATA equips more than 6,000 machines. MUDATA exports more than 50% of its production in Europe and in America. The MUDATA equipment has been chosen by many European and American manufacturers of saw milling machinery and from other industrial areas as handling, metallurgy, special machinery or machine too.
