The board is automatically centred in front of the edger.
The system computes automatically the full width of the board by measuring the opening of one or several centring arms, then by decreasing this value by a constant commissioned in a parameter, so as to take into account the board's wane.
The setting system searches the best sawing patterns according to the selected mode:
Recopy mode : edger's saws sets on the full computed width
Search of the best preset mode : saws of the edger set on the preset just smaller or wider (commissioned in a parameter) than the full width. "Page up/page down in presets" buttons allows the operator to correct quickly the sawing solution
Computation of an integer number of products for a multi-edger mode
Nearest centimetre (1/4 inch) mode : saws of the edger set to the metric or imperial pitch just smaller to the full width (the pitch can be modified by parameter)
Notes :
The number of axes for the centring arms (max. 2) is adjustable by parameter
Some MOD902 can be added for additional saws and splitters
